Gross Emoluments & Perquisites

At present, initial monthly gross emoluments without HRA are approximately ₹58,514. HRA of 15% of Pay is additionally paid if the employee is not staying in Bank accommodation. Other benefits include accommodation subject to availability, medical facilities, furnishing allowance, festival advance, leave fare concession and eligible loans/advances.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree

At least a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and knowledge of word processing on PC. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, pass class is prescribed.


Ex-Servicemen

An eligible Ex-Serviceman (other than dependents) should either be a graduate from a recognised University or have passed matriculation/equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.


Percentage / CGPA

Percentage is calculated by aggregating marks obtained in all subjects and maximum marks in all subjects. A fraction is ignored; therefore 49.99% is treated as below 50%. Where the institution prescribes a CGPA-to-percentage conversion, that method is accepted; otherwise the notification provides prescribed examples for a 10-point scale.


Language Requirement

Candidates applying for a particular Recruitment Office must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the language of the State or any State falling under that office.

Pre-Examination Training

Training may be arranged for eligible SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

Eligible Categories

SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates may request pre-examination training subject to the Bank’s arrangements.

Visually Impaired Candidates

Magnified font is available; candidates with not less than 40% disability are eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour.

Scribe Facility

Eligible candidates with writing limitations may use a scribe subject to the prescribed conditions and certificates.

Compensatory Time

Eligible PwBD candidates with physical limitation to write/type receive 20 minutes per hour of the examination, whether using a scribe or not.
