SBI recruits candidates for the Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) position in the clerical cadre.
The post is Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre of State Bank of India.
Candidates are considered against vacancies of the State/UT for which they apply and, if selected, are posted in that State/UT.
The new recruits must have flair for marketing and may be required to make customer calls, provide banking and advisory services and cross sell products.
There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter State Transfer before completion of 5 years of service, subject to the exceptional conditions specified by SBI.

The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at a Metro such as Mumbai will be around ₹46,000 per month, inclusive of DA, other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate Junior Associates. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government is required.
Candidates having an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2026.
Candidates who are in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally. If provisionally selected, they must produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2026.
The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the marksheet, certificate or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute. Where the result is posted on the University/Institute website, the prescribed certificate from the appropriate authority indicating the result-posting date is accepted.
Matriculate Ex-Servicemen who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force after completing not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible, subject to the notification's conditions.
The candidate must not be below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2026.

The specified opted local language requirement is part of the SBI Junior Associate selection process.
Provisionally selected candidates who have not studied the specified local language in Class 10th or 12th must appear for the test.
