Both Grade-I Signal and Grade-III CBTs contain 100 objective-type questions carrying 100 marks.
The standard CBT duration is 90 minutes. Eligible candidates may receive compensatory time as prescribed.
One-third mark is deducted for every wrong answer in the CBT.
Normalization of marks is done for CBTs conducted in multiple shifts.
The recruitment process comprises Computer Based Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Build strong fundamentals in the notified arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and probability topics applicable to your category.
Practise series, coding-decoding, analogy, classification, directions, syllogism, Venn diagrams, data interpretation and analytical reasoning.
For Grade-III, revise Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences at 10th standard level. Grade-I candidates should additionally master the notified engineering areas.
Grade-I candidates should give dedicated time to computer fundamentals, networking, operating systems, MS Office, electricity, magnetism and electronics.
